Hartford County resident Michael Gigliotti, age, of Manchester, was arrested on Monday, April 1, at his home in Manchester.
According to Lt. Nick Reinert of the Manchester Police, Gigliotti was nabbed by Manchester detectives, the Center for Digital Investigations, and Homeland Security following an investigation into child pornography.
Agents served a warrant on Gigliotti who was in the residence and taken into custody and was charged with possession of child pornography, Reinert said.
Reinert said officers then executed the search warrant at the Indian Drive home and seized:
- Multiple electronic devices
- Seven ghost gun rifles
- Three ghost gun pistols
- 15 assault rifle lower receivers without serial numbers
- 25 high-capacity magazines.
Officers also seized hallucinogenic mushrooms, cocaine, and cannabis, he added.
As a result of the search warrant, Gigliotti was additionally charged with:
- Sale of narcotic substance
- Sale of hallucinogenic substance
- Manufacture of cannabis
- Sale of 1 KG or more of cannabis
- Operating a drug factory,
- Use of drug paraphernalia,
- 15 counts of violation of lower receiver/frame restriction
- 25 counts of illegal possession of large capacity magazine
- 10 counts of manufacture of firearm
Gigliotti was held on bond and will be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Tuesday, April 2.
